The keys on the keyboard are the components that are susceptible to most of the misuse and damage. People are often found eating while working and spilling over on the keyboard while others hit the keys hard.
If the keyboard has got spoilt due to the food and other particles being lodged into the keyboard, the only option would be to change and replace the keyboard with a new one and this can be done easily within a few minutes.
First ensure your laptop is switched off and turn it upside down on the table. Use screwdrivers and unscrew on all four corners. Now with the help of a small thin pin separate the connectors attached to the data cable and the keyboard.
Remove the keyboard now and replace with a new keyboard. You can now reconnect the connectors of the mother to the data cable.
Next step involves removing the damaged keyboard and replacing it with a new keyboard after clearing out the dusk if any. Once the new keyboard is in place. Reconnect the motherboard connector to the data cable and clamp it in place.
One you have removed the defunct keyboard, reverse the process by first inserting the new keyboard in place. Go on to connect the motherboard to the keyboard by connecting the data cable with the connectors and clamps.
Check and ensure all connectors and cables are connected properly and you can close the laptop after replacing the battery unit and re tighten the screws in place.
One should have proper patience and concentration while doing this job. Only then the job can be successfully executed and the laptop is functional
